the nursery

Vivienne

Someone of you Facebook friends helped me decide on this perfect shade of peach for Vivienne’s nursery and I’ll be forever grateful. I am absolutely at peace in this room and trust me, I’m there often. This little princess thinks she needs to be held a whole dang bunch. She’s different than all my other babies have been but guess what!? I love her anyway;)When Sienna was born she didn’t even get a room, let alone a nursery decorated just for her. We were in a smaller house busting at the seams. BUT this time around I knew I really really wanted the baby to have a space of their own and luckily we were able to make it happen. It was so fun envisioning this nursery. The colors, the textures, the fabrics. I got to choose it all. I know one day soon she’ll have her own opinions (I mean she already does…but until she’s speaking English I can pretend I don’t understand) and will want to choose her own outfits and the way she keeps her room just like her big sisters have all done. But until then…it’s all up to ME!

And since this is a post about life…I thought I’d toss in the good news that Jordan is working again! He started last Thursday and is now employed as a R&D engineer. And we’re SO grateful. Though in the end I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. The time I got with him (three months to the day) was worth more than money can buy. He got to love on Vivie for 6 weeks and now that I’m flying solo I realize just how helpful that was to have him around. I may have to emply a baby holder if I ever want to get anything done again. OR I can just employ myself and get over being productive. I mean my kids won’t complain if we rotate between pizza, mac & cheese and hawaiian haystacks for the rest of the year…

Anyway, thanks again for all the prayers and employment opportunities tossed our way. We SO appreciate it and I’m looking forward to resuming life with an income again;)
