I know I’ve already posted a few of these shots, but I loved the sequence of things and didn’t want to take them out. So you get to enjoy them again. I’ve worked in bad weather before, but never a snowstorm like this. Luckily, this is Utah. So it didn’t last all day and we were able to go inside, get warm, shoot a bit in there, then go back out when it quit snowing. These two were definitely troopers, especially Yeimy. As I mentioned before, she’s used to tropical tempertures and didn’t want to wear a coat. But I can’t blame here. Her custom gown, complete with matching silk vest for Jason, deserved the spot light.
Once I returned home and reflected on this wedding and the adventure it must’ve been for Yeimy shooting in a blizzard, having never even experienced snow, I just thought…well it’s fitting really. Moving to a new country is an adventure. Add on top of that getting married… Never a dull moment. But isn’t that what makes life worth living?
