It’s been a CRAZY week, but good. My grandparents were in town staying with my parents, so I headed to Deweyville to see them. My sister was up so we planned a little “mini” shoot, but of course it was bad weather. She had this DI dress she wanted to shoot in and had been checking out youtube to figure out some fun old hair styles to match. My husband says she looks like a Korean War widow in these shots. Though truth be told, her husband was away on business…which did about kill her We practiced some more with my new light indoors, and then we froze to death outside. I went for a bit of retro editing on these to match. Again, not my usual style, but a fun exploration. She reminds me of the girl on the Notebook. What era would you place her in?
