the wedding of suzanne & cameron

Normally an album post would follow a regular post. But I’ve been so dang excited about this wedding, I couldn’t wait to design a sample album from it. Next year I’ll be offering high-end coffee table books from Couture Book. I love that the smallest book you can get is 100 pages. It kills me to design a 30-page album when I shoot an all day wedding. SO ANYWAY, I hope you love seeing Suzanne and Cameron’s big day for the first time all prettied up and in this gorgeous 100-page album. Of course I’ll post pics of the real thing when it arrives, but for now, please enjoy a weeks worth of design time below. OR, if you want something even better, click on this link HERE to see Couture Book’s online flip book version. Trust me, it’s worth reading and much more fun. (You’ll know the book is loaded when the cover unpixelizes…)

p.s. I’m wondering how you feel about the minimal text I’ve added to the spreads. Good? Bad? Ugly? Want more? Feed back on this and the entire album would be most appreciated since I haven’t actually sent this one to print. There’s still time to perfect…

September 13, 2010 - 9:27 pm Liz Frandsen - Thanks for the type catch Susan! And everyone else for the good reviews...

September 13, 2010 - 8:27 pm Miss ME - I have blog stalked you for more than a year now and think your work with this couple is some of your absolute best! I love the colors and the textures. Something that might be fun for the album would be to include something Suzanne and Cameron had each written for the other. That might make it even more personal for them.

September 13, 2010 - 6:21 pm kaylie - I made a goal not to comment so much, but these are just too great!! I think the minimal text is really cute! I like the font. I love the line of pictures they hung! That's such a cute idea. This couple is adorable and her dress is to different and beautiful:)

September 13, 2010 - 5:14 pm Kirsten - Wow Liz! I love it! You really captured their day - Everyone looks like they had such a fun time, and lots of fun details. Good work as usual!!!

September 13, 2010 - 4:32 pm Susan - This album is beautiful! I like the minimal text a lot. Just out of curiosity, did you match the font to the font used in their invitations? Also, the last page with text uses a possessive (The King's have left the building) and I think it should be plural (The Kings have left the building.). I would hate for your gorgeous album to have a typo!

September 13, 2010 - 1:38 pm allyson - I think it looks amazing..just enough text without breaking the simple and clean design. And your skin tones ROCK. Someday you and I are going to chat about that! :)
