the packard family

The majority of my work this year has been weddings, but this month I’ve had the opportunity to shoot a few families, and while it’s challenging to go from brides who do exactly what you say to toddlers who could care less, I love the outcome anyway! This little girl in particular was rather independent. (She reminded me of a certain toddler named Ella whom I spend my days with). So she did her thing and we shot around her but I love the moments it led to. Posed, smiling, shots are nice, but there’s something so sweet and lasting about the glances, hugs, and exchanges of a family together. I also loved that I got to take a few picture of Anna to celebrate her graduation. She just finished her doctorate. Congratulations!!!
