Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography bio picture

Liz

I am many things to many people, but beneath the labels, I am simply one who creates.

Even professionally, I won't be separated from my family.

I love waking up to the soft spoken "mommy" of a happy toddler.

I love living.

My mind never stops racing because it's happily fueled by passion.

I've always loved my husband. Always.

I am only one, but that's just enough.

THE opening image

It was great shooting these two again, but different than before. They used to do hot, serious + a dash of passion almost exclusively. Now that they’re married and life has returned to normal they’re just fun and goofy together. But that’s what marriage does to you. Love becomes less serious and more real. But they didn’t disappoint. I was hoping to capture the perfect opening image for my new website and I got it! So once you finish with this post, check out “the gallery” listed up in the blog’s menu to see which shot I chose to greet all my website visitors. I’ll be adding a few more galleries, including one of portraits, but I didn’t want to wait any longer. I’m not really the patient type. So we’ll call this the “soft opening” of my website. When it’s completely finished, we’ll have a “grand opening” and some sort of celebration I suppose…I don’t know what though. Maybe a contest? Leave your ideas in the comment section. What would be an appropriate celebration for the website that’ll be finished after more than a year of saying it’s “almost” done…

Hmmmm…. Well, on with these two beautiful newlyweds and some gorgeous Fall lovin!

This shot is an inside joke…

One of my favorite helpers tagged along for this shoot…. Have I mentioned how much I love my family!

p.s. If you’re excited to see more from Mistie’s senior session, make sure you check out the “featured sessions” portion of the website. I stayed up way too late working on that one last night. But it was worth it! I’ll be adding more to the featured gallery as well. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the format of those galleries. The idea behind it was I wanted to show how my images are almost made to be shown in collections. My style of shooting just lends itself to that. My goal is for all my clients to walk away with something new for their “library” and so I thought it would be fun to display the layouts/style used in some of my books and albums. What do you think?

October 26, 2009 - 7:39 pm Janelle - Is this your inaugural Black Tie Affairs session? It's great. I love the black and white with the wheat color and fall scenery.

October 26, 2009 - 2:43 pm Nicole Nielsen - I LOVE Ella!! She is so cute! That picture made me smile:)

October 23, 2009 - 2:05 pm leslie frandsen - P.S. I did like the layout. I have seen a lot of the books and I think it is a great way to show the pictures. Your clients are very lucky.

October 23, 2009 - 2:01 pm leslie frandsen - I saw the pictures of Mistie. Wow!! I want that dress too. You know what I really liked? You did the shoot all on the same day and it looks like you used different models. You are like a magazine photographer. Same girl, different looks. That was really cool.

October 23, 2009 - 8:23 am Laura - I cant get into the gallery, if i click on it it just says 100 loading content and sits with the yellow screen.. what am i doing wrong?

October 23, 2009 - 8:22 am Lenni - Love these shots! I love how you've really captured their personality in each and every shot. Perfect!
