Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography bio picture

Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen

I am many things to many people, but beneath the labels, I am simply one who creates.

Even professionally, I won't be separated from my family.

I love waking up to the soft spoken "mommy" of my happy toddler.

I love living.

My mind never stops racing; it's happily fueled by passion.

I've always loved my husband. Always.

I am only one, but that's just enough.

rubber ducky the first

I decided along time ago I’m never going to get any of those cute “Matilda Jane” shots of my Ella. That’s just not her. So I decided to plan a shoot that had a bit of spunk to it. Enter giant rubber ducky (actually it’s heavy and not at all rubber). The planning part went great. She was even excited to “say cheese” as we drove to the locatio..n… But then it was cold. And she got tired WAY fast. And so, I was reminded again why I shoot her yearly session on her half birthday. Winter just doesn’t mix well with Ella. At least not when she’s dressed like this. But aren’t the shoes cute…

Alas, there will have to be a second round for this idea. But I got a few cute ones. Just not enough for what I had in mind.

(And if this isn’t obvious… I didn’t take the pictures I am in. But my husband sure did a great job didn’t he!)

My favorite shot of the day:

After five seconds in the car:

p.s. I’m headed to Vegas tomorrow for WPPI (huge photography convention)!! SOOOOO excited. So I’ll be gone until next Friday. I’ll return any emails and voicemails when I get back. Monday morning check in here on the blog… I have a post scheduled with THE most fabulous session ever! Hopefully it will make your week until I return with stories/pictures from Vegas + I have a bridal session and an engagement session next weekend. YEAH! So many fun things coming up.

Well I’m off to pack and clearn :( Super not exciting… But have a great weekend everyone.

April 1, 2010 - 6:59 pm Jaci - LIZ! You are so amazing!! I have been looking through your blog for a good hour now and my jaw keeps hitting my key board. How do you do this??? You should be very happy and proud of yourself! Way to go! I love how you've been trying things out of the ordinary and challenging yourself. You have so much drive and motivation! Keep up the fabulous work! Jaci

March 4, 2010 - 6:02 pm Jessica Hills - I love the ones with that blue background! My photo shoots with Allie only last like 10 minutes each :) Have fun at your convention!

March 4, 2010 - 3:14 pm The Jordan - The pictures did turn out really cute (especially the ones I took!). You're a great teacher! I want some of these for our house. The shoes were cute, the candy kept her happy for longer and is kinda cute. And that duck looks a lot better with painted lips. So everything worked out in the end. Love you. I'm way excited for this next week and being with you at the conference!
