awards & education

Awards. Degrees. Publications. Cool places my work has been. Let’s go there. I mean, do I think you should hire me simply because of what’s listed on this page? No. Do I derive my worth in life from the list below? Absolutely not. But is it true that I do in fact know my craft inside and out? For sure.

I am a professional artist and story teller. My work and albums have garnered national attention, the award winning-front cover of a magazine kind. And the best part about that is, the images I compete with are client work. What does that mean? It means I’m entering actual weddings and sessions I’m commissioned to photograph. It means your wedding might grace the cover or bring home a trophy one day. It also means I specialize in award winning quality day in and day out.

So which trophy is my favorite so far? Well since you asked…it’s the Grand Imaging Award I brought home from Nashville. Did I win first place? Nope. Second. But second in the nation? Yes! I’ll run with that. I mean, not literally because it’s heavy and made of glass, but it’s a beautiful tangible reminder that what I do matters. I know the albums I create will one day be family heirlooms, worth far more than their weight in gold. And I can’t wait to meet the future granddaughters of my brides, to hear what they’ll say as they carefully turn each page of grandma’s priceless album, completely in awe of the princess she once was.
